Sports Massage is the term applied to the discipline of using massage for the specific benefit of all sports and exercise participants. It covers the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of the soft tissues of the body eg muscles, ligaments and tendons.

Sports massage is tailored to each individual's needs to positively enhance one's ability to perform.

Homoeopathy is a complete system of natural medicine. Its gentle methods treat the person as a whole and can be applied to any condition - physical and emotional.
The principles of homoeopathy date back as far as 460 BC to Hippocrates, the "Father" of Medicine.

The brilliant German Doctor Samuel Hahnemann (1755 - 1843) through his scientific experimentation, confirmed that certain substances caused "symptoms" of disease in healthy people. By diluting these substances in measured doses he found that they could then cure the same symptoms as they caused.

Acupuncture is a technique of inserting and manipulating filiform needles into "acupuncture points" on the body with the aim of restoring health and well-being, e.g. treating pain and diseases.

Acupuncture is thought to have originated in China and is most commonly associated with Traditional Chinese medicine.

Reiki

Reiki's true translation is 'Spiritual Energy', it is all around us and within us. Reiki is a method of channelling this energy through the hands to benefit a person on an emotional and physical level. It is not a belief system, it is not a religion and does not contradict any religious faith.

Therapeutic Massage is loosely based on the Swedish Massage Technique, to become more intuitive to the client's needs and is tailored to suit the individual. The treatment can be soft and gentle or if a firmer massage is required I incorporate deep tissue and muscle manipulation loosening up any tightness in the back, neck and shoulders and separating connective tissue around the spine.

Reflexology is a well known and widely accepted complementary therapy which has its roots in ancient Egypt & China.  Reflex points relating to all parts of the body are accessed via the feet using a variety of specific thumb and finger pressure techniques.

Relaxing and therapeutic, reflexology also offers relief for many ailments and conditions, resulting in a more balanced body and mind.  Stress relief, removal of harmful toxins and stimulation of the immune system are some of the benefits of reflexology.

Counselling

Life can sometimes present itself as overwhelming and it can be difficult to find the space and time to take stock.

Counselling provides a safe and confidential space in which to explore any difficulties that you may be experiencing in your life.

For many, counselling is an invaluable step toward learning more about who you are and making room for positive changes in your life.

Yoga

All the major systems of the body benefit from regular yoga practise - through stretching and breath work the spine strengthens and becomes more flexible, muscles become more supple, digestion and circulation improve and the nerves calm. Yoga has the effect of balancing the hormones and reducing stress levels, leading to a general feeling of well-being and calm.

Thai Foot Massage is one of the world's oldest healing arts and originated in India over 2500 years ago.

It is a combination of massage techniques applied to the lower legs and feet and has elements of Shiatsu, Reflexology, Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine incorporated within. The massage works the lower legs and feet with stretches and compression to 'open' energy lines. A stick is used to stimulate the reflex points on the feet which correspond to the internal organs of the body, thus resulting in benefits to general health and wellbeing.

Spiritual Healing is a well established, ancient, natural therapy. No 'faith' is necessary as the energy channelled is universal and is therefore available to all.

I use guided visualisation to help relax the client; some people feel heat or tingling during the session and become deeply relaxed, others are energised and refreshed.

Australian Bush Flower Essences have rapidly established a reputation for deep and profound effects on a wide range of physical and emotional conditions.

These are carefully chosen to match your needs. The essences are taken orally as drops or can be added to drinking water.

Sound Therapy is a very powerful and effective healing process, balancing and aligning the body's energy system.

Amazing sounds move around your body like waveforms resulting in a deeply relaxing and empowering experience.

Sound eases stress and relieves pain, soothes and alters emotional and mental states. It boosts the immune system helping to prevent physical illness.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is based on the ancient principles of acupuncture and is a simple tapping procedure that gently realigns the body's energy system, without the discomfort of needles.

Unlike other energy healing methods, EFT incorporates an emotional element to the healing process, addressing unresolved emotional issues as a likely cause of physical disease, psychological dysfunction, and personal performance limits.

Facial Reflexology is a modern holistic therapy that has it's roots in oriental medicine. This unique methodology, as taught by Lone Sorensen Lopez, combines techniques drawn from Traditional Chinese Medicine, South American Facial Zone Therapy, Vietnamese Facial Reflexology and the most up-to-date research in neuro-anatomy.

It is the result of extensive research and trials carried out in several countries and in conjunction with medical doctors and specialists. Lone has received three honorary awards for her pioneering work. This deeply relaxing therapy is designed to assess the underlying cause of your health discomforts as well as treating the symptoms. Our health is influenced by our physical, hormonal and emotional state.

Hot Stone Massage can be a dual purpose massage. Due to the heat of the stones, it is always a highly relaxing, stress reduction massage.

The hardness of the stones allows the therapist to address specific problem areas with more detailed work or deeper pressure.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is the ultimate mind/body therapy to help reshape your life, change negative thinking patterns into positive thought processes or remove unwanted habits/fears/phobias.

Stress, anxiety, insomnia, addictions, weight control, anger management, sports performance, panic attacks, pain relief and many other problems can all be resolved by a minimum number of hypnotherapy sessions

Indian Head Massage

The aim of Indian head massage is to release accumulated tension in the tissue, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. It is particularly good for reducing the effects of stress and tension. The client sits fully clothed on a low backed chair. Different movements are applied including deep kneading and compression movements over the neck, shoulder and scalp and gentle stimulation and pressure points are stroked on the face.

Joint mobility and flexibility in the neck and shoulders are increased, blood circulation and lymphatic flow are improved, knots of muscular tension are freed, connective tissue is relaxed, elimination of accumulated toxins and waste products is enhanced.
